safe community of kind people who really know how to look out for each other.
The best areas in Eastpointe to relax are at the amazing festivals that happen a few times a year. There is the Erin-Halfway Days Living History Festival, which is awesome for geeky history buffs. There's a big event in the summer, aptly called Summer Fest, that is a ton of fun. There's even free music most Wednesday's in the big city park. There may not be much to do here during other times of the year, but it's a great little commuter town for those like me who work in the big city.
