Located in picturesque central Washington at the base o ...Read More f the Cascades Mountains, this town is just outside the bigger city of Wenatchee. Known for its apple production, the area is a hub for both the agricultural and the timber industries. There are also many diverse job options in the various service industries, specifically in the tourism sector.

The best area in East Wenatchee is up in the mountains. Nearby Stevens Pass and Mission Ridge boast some of Washington state's best skiing. Runners, hikers, and walkers of all ages and skill levels will delight in the many trails circling the area. East Wenatchee is rightfully proud of its community spirit, and this tightness is best exemplified in the many festivals, including the Apple Blossom Festival held each April. Read Less
