I have lived in East Honolulu for my entire 34 years of life. It has been an amazing experience and every time I leave for work or vacation, I can't wait to get back to east Honolulu. My life has been filled with relaxing weekends on the beach, the truth is that my life is a vacation.
The place to be in East Honolulu, HI is the Wai'alae County Club. Most residents of the city spend their free time at this vacation hot spot. This popular country club received the honor of being ranked in America's top 100 Country Clubs. It lines the beach and has both an aquatic and fitness center. Whether you are looking to get fit, lay out on the beach to catch a tan, or wine and dine, it is all possible at the chic Wai'alae Country Club.
East Honolulu is a great place to live because there are plenty of employment opportunities no matter what your area of expertise. The education is stellar and the school district has won multiple awards and honors proving such. The crime rate is also very low. These factors make it a great place to raise a family. Many parents would like a place where they have great job security, bountiful education for their children and do not need to worry about the safety of their family and you will find all of that in East Honolulu, Hawaii.
The biggest downfall of the region is the cost of living. Because it is an island that is not connected to the mainland Americas, shipping in goods is very expensive which means that paying for goods is that much more expensive than if you lived on the mainland America.
