Durango, Colorado has all the mountains cites you can see, has all the parks you need, highest restaurants and weed stores per capital but gets boring kinda quick. The shopping here is not the greatest. Bunch of local shops but most them sell the same thing, bunch of restaurants but super over priced for the locals to eat at. Few chained restaurants that are able to be enjoyed but not many. Nightlife here is not really there, few bars are open up at night but just a couple, usually sun down your at home cause of how little there is to do at night (unless you go out to eat but still go home after) Community events are very fun, they have quite a few a year bring the community together. Everyone is friendly. Lots of people are living in such a small space.

Located in the venerable Rocky Mountains, Durango, Colorado is an outdoor lover's paradise. I love living in Durango because of all the interesting recreational activities it provides both its residents and visitors. Fort Lewis College is a central hub of activity and the lifeblood of Durango's close-knit community. In addition to the college, plentiful job opportunities are found in the area's diverse service industry. The town boasts a diverse climate with four distinct seasons. The charming mountain setting provides a host of fun activities including ziplining, white water river rafting, skiing, and more.

One of the most popular tourist attractions is the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, connecting the two idyllic mountain towns. Located just 30 minutes away, the Purgatory Ski Resort features a variety of activities in both the winter and summer. However, the best area of Durango is Main Avenue. This Nationally Registered Historic District offers a myriad of quaint dining and shopping opportunities sure to please any taste.
