Going downhill 1 rating By fedup ( Jan 21, 2016) When I purchased here it was a warm, rural community, welcoming all. Lately, however, a faction has moved in, seemingly determined to change the rural community, discount personal responsibility, and alter the area to a new version of rural. I moved here for the rural agricultura ...Read More l atmosphere. These days, however, it appears that those of us who have lived here a long time are discounted in favor of those who have more dollars, and want a more gentified atmosphere. They buy near cattle, horses, dogs and cats, then utilize the community resources to try to drive those features out of the community. Personal responsibility means nothing, and it frequently appears that council members are utilizing town hall to further their own personal agendas. This area is perfect for those who want an up and coming subburb of Phoenix/Scottsdale, but for those of us who embrace the agricultural and rural lifestyle, it's time to move on. Read Less
