Destrehan, LA: Come Get You Some Cajun Life! User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) When you've been living in Destrehan, Louisiana as long as I have, you become an old hat at knowing what works for a community and what doesn't, and I'm here to tell you Destrehan is a pretty fine place to call home. Definitely one of the best areas in this region. We've got ours ...Read More elves some great schools, a pretty low crime rate, respectful, decent folk to call our friends and neighbors, and some pretty great weather most of the time. We take pride in our history and our heritage here, and we welcome visitors and anyone who wants to come join our ranks and make this place their home.


Of course, we have a lot of great things to do and see and experience here in Destrehan. We have guided Cajun Pride Tours, Garden District Walks NOLA, the National World War II Museum, A Haunted History Tour that covers all of the great spooky spots around here and is my personal favorite, and of course all the entertainment and great food and drink you could ever want courtesy of the French Quarter. Come visit and stay a spell and let us show you some Louisiana hospitality. Read Less
