Dedham Nice Downtown Living User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I absolutely love living in Dedham. Most of the homes have big backyards compared to a lot of other towns nearby. We have a lot of family-friendly activities, good schools, and excellent shopping options. Dedham is not as diverse than what I am used to, but we have a lot of shopping options. Legacy Place and Dedham Mall have some of my favorite stores such as Kohls and Macys. The commuter rail train makes it very easy to get around. We're not that far from Boston or Providence, but I rarely visit because I have everything I need in Dedham.

We have a very nice quaint downtown area. Most weekends I usually grab a coffee from Mocha Java and sit and enjoy the scenery. There are a lot of nice shops and restaurants downtown including Yard House and Pancho's Taqueria. I recommend going early because the traffic usually gets worse in the afternoon. Read Less
