Darby, Pennsylvania: Decent, but Crime Rate is Up 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I currently call Darby, Pennsylvania home and this is a decent place to live, but I can’t see it being my forever home. The largest issues for me, is the crime rate and the fact that the local school system sucks. Living in Darby, Pennsylvania does provide my life with a lot of diversity. There are people here of all races and socioeconomic backgrounds. Getting to know new people here is very interesting.

The best areas in Darby, Pennsylvania are the small neighborhoods. Within these neighborhoods there is a great sense of community. In the best neighborhoods, there are events during the year to allow neighbors to get to know each other better. I can say that while the crime rate is high, that my immediate neighborhood is a close-knit group of people. Read Less
