After lunch, I enjoyed a walk along Main Street, as I studied carefully the historic 19th century buildings, which reminded me of those in SoHo and other classic Manhattan neighborhoods. Of course, there were plenty of boutiques and small window shops as well. Being a history buff, I had to explore local history at the Danbury Museum and Danbury Railway Museum, which are both located nearby in downtown.

What I loved about Danbury is that it has a mix of a historic and modern atmosphere. I couldn't help but notice the active presence of multiple high tech companies in the area. Tucked away behind all of this is an array of quiet and green lined residential neighborhoods, where I ended my day at my friend's house. Read Less
