ay, we are surrounded by a natural environment, influenced by the Pacific Northwest's climate. Lots of beautiful trees, creeks, rivers, and forests here, plenty of new things to discover.
The best places around Damascus to find food are around SE Sunnyside Road that runs from Damascus to Sunnyside. Here one can find lots of great places to eat, drink, and enjoy the company of friendly Oregonians. I am fortunate to be living so close to Portland, I often will head there on Weekends to explore the many bars and restaurants. Portland itself is a beautiful city, and Damascus is such a short distance away that it makes for a perfect commute.
