Daly City, CA - A Shoppers Dream User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jun 11, 2010) Whenever visiting San Francisco, I couldn't resist the temptation to shop at Colma, which is the shopping hub of Daly City. The city of Dala City is located on the northern outskirts of San Francisco and is a part of Greater San Francisco Metropolitan Area.

Shopping at Colma is
...Read More fun because not only does it have an almost unimaginable range of shops but also, its always easy to find parking. Moreover, the tax rate is far lower than other San Francisco suburbs. You can find clothing and other personal items for less than half the price of San Francisco outlets.

Daly City is a melting pot of cultures. There are lots of Asians and Hispanics, who live in complete harmony with other minorities. On weekdays, everyone seems to take BART, Bay Area Rapid Transit. If you ever want to buy a home in Daly City then my recommendation is West Lake district which is on the western border, by the Sea. I admit that the prices may be higher for homes near the beach but it is a steal compared to other neighborhoods. The average house price is nearly half a million dollars but they are worth it. As economy comes out of recession, home prices in Lake district will be first to skyrocket. Read Less
