I love going to the public parks here with the most popular being Crestwood Park. I enjoy going there to watch a baseball or soccer game. The Aquatic Center located in Whitecliff Park is also a great place to enjoy an afternoon. There are also plenty of golf courses located nearb ...Read More

Being situated near major highways and interchanges like I-44 and I-270 gives our city the opportunity to host many out of town guests which is great because it brings an abundance of jobs and commerce to our city. We also have plenty of nice restaurants and beautiful hotels in which to stay.
I have always been a big history buff and the city of Crestwood gives me plenty to keep myself busy. I love to visit the burial location of Sgt. John Sappington who was infamous for being a Revolutionary War soldier and bodyguard to our first President, General George Washington during the Valley Forge campaign. He was also involved in the construction of several other military forts around the Midwest. Another great place is Grant’s Farm which is located right here at the edge of our city. There is a lot of history associated here with our former president Ulysses S. Grant during his time in the Mexican War and of course, the American Civil War. There are also plenty of animals to see including free roaming deer, buffalo and zebras. I also enjoy taking a walk on the biking/walking trails located within Grant’s farm which has several interesting historical stops along the way.
I like living in this city which has plenty of good jobs and low crime thanks to our outstanding police force. I can get anything I want here with the Walmart Super Center, Lowe’s Hardware, Sam’s Club, Target and plenty of other stores located right here nearby. Being situated near major highways and interchanges like I-44 and I-270 also gives our city the opportunity to host many out of town guests which is great because we also have numerous fine restaurants and beautiful hotels in which to stay.
