With miles and miles of open road, livestock, and beautiful country fields; you will feel very much at ease. The weather is also perfect for farming with plenty of rain and sunshine throughout the months. In winter, ...Read More they may be snow but nothing harsh and unbearable. With much land around, this means there are few shopping centers and entertainment places located nearby. This also brings the cost of living down and much more affordable for the average household.
On the other hand, education and crime are higher than usual and employment opportunities are very scarce. This is a result of farmers using lots of land for miles.
I have stayed in Columbia, Tennessee for only a few years and I really seem to enjoy the nice weather and privacy you get. It is very quite and secluded than most and many of the residents there are very private and also respectful! Read Less
