Christiansburg is a Progressively Growing City 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I've been living in Christiansburg for the last 12 years and have enjoyed the small-time environment and all of the comforts of having a close relationship with neighbors and friends in this progressively growing city. There is hardly any crime in Christiansburg Virginia and the ...Read More scenery here is one of the most beautiful mountain backdrops in the country. You can find all the shops and amenities needed to live life comfortably; however, there is not a lot of parks and other recreational opportunities for kids in this area.

The best areas in Christiansburg are near Macado's off of West Main Street. There are a lot of shops and convenient housing that is reason reasonably priced and allowing individuals to easily commute shop and dine at some of the more popular establishments in this area. My kids love the schools and the other kids in our neighborhood and provide a great community and culture for them to grow in this area. Christiansburg is an extremely great place to live and I recommend it to anyone moving to Virginia and looking for a small town to raise their kids. Read Less
