Chickasha Oklahoma: A Place You Can Call Home 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I had a good experience while living in Chickasha Oklahoma. The city is in Grady County. Chickasha is close to Woodlawn Park Oklahoma. The town is known for its agricultural history. The city’s economy is widely aligned with wheat and cattle markets. Employment options are slig ...Read More htly below average in comparison with cities of like size and housing is somewhat mediocre. However, the climate is good and the community makes you feel at home. Neighborhoods in Chickasha are fairly safe, but the outskirts of town may be a bit less secure.

Some of the best areas in Chickasha Oklahoma surround Shannon Springs Park. This district offers shopping and dining. There is also a huge business district a few miles away. The town thrives year round. I appreciated the annual events which seem to get the entire town involved. The town celebrates family by sponsoring multiple family-friendly events throughout the year. The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma is local. The town also has over 10 exceptional public schools. This is a great place to call home. Read Less
