Like most cities in America Cameron, Missouri has its good points and its bad points. Take for example the rising crime rate here. It isn't as bad as in many areas, but it is still a point of concern and we are working hard to improve it. I am proud to say and that after living in Cameron for 6 years I am happy and settling in here quite nicely. Our children are not of school-age yet, but my husband and I have already checked out the school system here and it is a very good one, so we will feel confident in educating our children here. We absolutely love our neighbors and all of the people who make up this great town. They all welcomed us with open arms, instead of making us feel like the "new people" until we've lived here for a decade! All in all, this is a great little town, I daresay one of the best areas in this part of the state.
If you find yourself in or near Cameron definitely stop in for a tour of the Glore Psychiatric Museum, the Hall of Waters Museum, the Grindstone Winery, and stop in to visit the Soggy Bottom camp and try your skill at Old School Escape escape room challenges.
