Calhoun, GA Is A Decent Place To Live, Could Be Better

While this is a nice enough little community to live in, most of us are growing concerned about the rising crime rate. During the time I've been living in Calhoun, it seems to have risen steadily instead of decreasing at all. Same goes for the schools. The dropout rates are soaring and we are seeing smaller and smaller graduating classes. The community itself is nice enough, with some decent housing available and jobs for those who really want to work. The weather is ok as well, although sometimes in the summertime we can get some pretty bad thunderstorms. Still, there are worse places a person could live. We have some nice local attractions to visit. There's Rock City Gardens, and if you enjoy hiking you can visit Lookout Mountain's cool cave. Cloudland Canyon State Park also offers hiking and camping, and if you enjoy shopping you can check out all the shops at the Calhoun Outlet Marketplace, a super-popular outlet mall that offers some of everything. This is a pretty ok place to live, but most people just stay for a few years and then move on to bigger and better things.
