Caledonia, WI: A Milwaukee Suburb With Very Few Amenities

I lived in Caledonia briefly, but there was so little to do there that I eventually left for a city with more opportunities. If you're thinking of moving here, you will almost certainly have better luck finding a job in Milwaukee and commuting for work. Caledonia has very little in the way of long-term careers. It's not a bad thing, it just means Caledonia might be better suited for retirees or people that don't need to work.

You'll want to have your own vehicle if you move here as well. When it comes to shopping, visiting restaurants or recreational activities, there is a good chance you will have to drive from one end of town to another, or even to a neighboring city to find what you need. The Caledonian Wildlife Area is easily one of the best areas in Caledonia and it is a great place to visit for exercise or with your pet or friends.
