This neighborhood is a welcoming and family friend place, that boasts excellent public schools and a growing population rich with Austin culture. Never far from the fun, Brushy Creek is lo ...Read More cated a short drive north of the famous downtown Austin, and just west of historic downtown Round Rock. Housing costs have increased in recent years with the northward expansion of Austin, but the growth brings more positives than negatives; from famous Austin restaurants, to bolstered youth leagues, Brushy Creek is an excellent home for family life.

The neighborhood itself is home to a variety of hiking and biking through the Texas hill country nature. Old oaks dot the yards and parks, and beautiful Brushy Creek (from where the neighborhood's name derives) creates a wonderful escape from the bustle of daily life. The summers can get hot, and spring thunderstorms do threaten flash floods on the creek, but overall the area is wonderful. Read Less
