Brooklyn Park, MN - A Nice Place to Call Home User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 05, 2010) Brooklyn Park, MN is a beautiful place to live. I have lived here for over 20 years. What keeps me living here is the beautiful "country like" feeling of the community. I enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that this city has to offer. House of Hui's is one of the best restaurants in t ...Read More own. The Chinese food is great and for the price you pay, the portions are always generous. The delicious fresh buffet they serve each day gives you a large selection of food to choose from.

Ice skating is popular in Brooklyn Park. My children always enjoyed going to the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center. They only charge $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for youth under 18 and Senior Citizens. They have special family price packages that fit every budget. Therefore, this always makes for a fun activity for everyone.

The shopping is convenient and we have all the major stores that are centrally located and easy to get to from any part of the city. Brooklyn Park, MN is a tight nit community. The educational system makes this a wonderful place to raise children. Brooklyn Park, MN is located just minutes from Minneapolis and St. Paul. We do have cold winters; however, the snow makes this small city, a "postcard beautiful" place to live. Read Less
