Even though Brock Hall is one of the smallest towns I've lived in, it's one where the people are among the friendliest. Everyone is so caring and supportive of each other and the events that take place in the town. There are very few homes that are run down, which has been nice to see over the past four years that I have been here compared to other cities I've lived in before. There aren't many jobs to choose from, but the town is about 30 minutes from Bowie, which is a town that offers more businesses and factories.
Brock Hall is an artistic town. There are a few museums I've visited, and there are special events where people display their artwork, foods that they make, and various crafts made by hand. The Christmas season is filled with magic in the air and is possibly my favorite time of the year here. Many of the restaurants are independently owned. The food served at them is usually fresh and made with better ingredients than I've had at chain restaurants.
