I hit a pothole on the interstate that caused my car to be towed, and left me overnight in this friendly town. Although the reception person at La Quinta was a rude idiot, everyone else, from the amazing taxi service at Peeps, the kind people at Phillips 66, who I spent hours with trying to arrange my next move, the towing service, the Kia dealer, restaurant workers, and literally Everyone, (except LaQuinta), were crazy nice. What a gem of a town.
