Living in Bloomington, CA User Rating 1.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I grew up in Bloomington, CA and have experienced some of the positive amenities and great weather although the area, itself, is not ideal. Bloomington offers some superior amenities, which include the Green Acres Memorial Park and Mount Rubidoux Park. These attractions can make ...Read More Bloomington, CA livable, along with the relatively low cost of living associated with the area. I do have issues with this area, however, and my choice to relocate was based on the following issues.

Bloomington, CA has a relatively low rated public education system which made the possibility of remaining there virtually impossible for me with my growing family. Along with the poor education system, the city has a high crime rate and limited opportunities for job development and growth. Certain industries like construction and energy development offer phenomenal job outlook, but options are limited outside of these industries.

Ultimately, Bloomington is fairly livable but would probably be best suited for young professionals seeking a temporary launching ground. Read Less
