Just your average working person User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 23, 2019) Great place to live if you like slow and friendly. May have to travel 25 minutes for certain amenities but basics are near. The hospital is in Bellingham ( the 25 minutes I mentioned) so that can be a challenge. Cost of living isn't bad. A lot of manufactured homes and RV parks ...Read More in the area. Which is a positive because you dont have to make a kings ransom to really enjoy living on or near the beach. I was delighted and shocked not seeing a over developed beach front. Which could easily skyrocket the cost of living. So commuting isn't so bad. Great place to raise a family.
Crime isn't a problem at the. If anything someone might take something out of your car. Even then mostly kids just making poor decisions. Other than that most issues a relationship driven that get out of hand. No racial issue ( I'm black). In fact...... outside of the visually obvious folks don't think much about it. As I never thought much about it no matter where I lived.
One of America's best kept secrets and I'm well traveled.
