Big Rapids, MI - City Review User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I moved to this city to join my graduate school four years ago. After this year, I can confidently declare that this is just a home away from home. I have found my new friends in schools who are so welcoming. My neighbours are also lovely people. The nightlife in this city has go ...Read More ne beyond my expectations. The music is excellent, and the arts scenes are just incredible. The town features limitless natural views outside.


The economy of the town is growing at the fastest rate possible. Someone living in Big Rapids can notice the many breweries in the city, big restaurants, and fantastic fashion boutiques along with massive shopping malls.


The existence of many bars and nightclubs in the city has given it a bad name with people stating that it is a place of snobs and criminals. However, I would say that with the facilities like hospitals, public transport means and crime rate, this city can be the ideal place for anyone.


The best areas in Big Rapids can be found in the outskirts. I have noticed that such places have a lot of history and the life is a bit different from the city-centre life. Read Less
