community is that it is a close-knit community. The local school system is decent enough and my older children enjoy attending Monticello Senior High School. In addition, the local crime rate is decent and I do not think that it is any higher than the surrounding areas.
Living in Big Lake, Minnesota provide multiple recreational opportunities. The best areas in Big Lake, Minnesota in my opinion are the parks and trails located at Big Lake. There is a total of 23.5 miles of trails, sidewalks, and greenway around Big Lake. Another great area for you and your family to enjoy includes the Big Lake Farmers Market which sells local items that are homegrown. There are also often concerts held at the farmers market.
