I found that living in Bethany, OK offered me the chance to enjoy a nice combination of city, university, and small town life. Bethany, OK is located ten miles from downtown Oklahoma City, which means it was always easy for my friends and I to go out on the town. The city offers a number of small shops, restaurants, and bars. The city puts on events for holidays such as Christmas and Halloween. My favorite thing about Bethany was the presence of people of all ages. This allowed me to have a fantastic college experience while living in a community that I considered spending the rest of my life in.
