I've been living in Beacon New York for five years and have enjoyed the cultural activities and artsy field of this small town city that has provided me and my family with a great environment to live and experience great relationships. Beacon has lots of restaurants from all over the world that provide very unique opportunities for individuals to eat from various cultures. The nightlife and atmosphere on Main Street in Beacon is very lively every night and you always have something unique to do in the city.
The best areas in Beacon are around the River Side Section and Mountain Side Section of town. The housing market in Beacon is thriving and houses generally hold their value and you will pay a pretty high price to live in Beacon, however, it's worth it for the quality of the neighborhoods and the amenities within this small town. We also have a train system that has daily commutes to New York City where you can also work and commute back and forth into Beacon. The school systems in Beacon are very good and my kids love the great atmosphere and friendships they have developed with their classmates. If you looking to move to New York, I highly recommend Beacon as one of those gems that will provide a quality lifestyle in a small town environment for individuals that want to live the quiet life.
