The Upside: It's a Working Class Neighborhood that Offers Affordable Homes User Rating 2 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Once upon a time, I am sure that Bayonet Point was a thriving little suburb in Pasco County. Unfortunately, it has fallen the way of many subdivisions off of U.S. 19, and does not have the appeal that it might once have had. The best part about living in Bayonet Point is its prox ...Read More imity to close-by attractions, like Congo River Mini Golf and Sunwest Park, which make for fun-filled weekends with my kids.

Despite being rough around the edges, I chose to live in Bayonet Point because it offers affordable housing that makes home ownership possible for me. The homes are older, but charming in their own way. The significant downside to living in Bayonet Point is hurricane season. We are in a flood zone, so a good rain may flood the streets and make them impassable.

The best areas in Bayonet Point are just a short drive down the road. The closeness of things to do, shopping, and other services make Bayonet Point more attractive than it might otherwise appear on its surface. Read Less
