I’ve lived here 20+ years and it’s been a beautiful and family friendly place to raise our children. The community is vibrant and welcoming to everyone. We have wonderful holiday and community events that provide a warm feel. There aren’t a ton of commercial activities but you can’t beat the hikes, biking options. The rivers are beautiful. It’s also pet friendly as I’ve never had an issue taking my pup anywhere. The schools are smaller, but so is our population. What the schools make up for in size is school spirit where the community comes out to support youth sports and other events. Auburn is a wonderful and beautiful place to live.

Well most people commute for workthere are few jobs here. Auburns economy is mostly based on retired people which inflates housing costs. 70% of everyone you see will be blue, or grey haired. The majority of the community hates change, so little happens here except more box stores. If you are old white retired, and racist, and enjoy box stores&starbucks, and like being bored in general. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! besides that it is very beautiful country tho most of the summer is over 100f.
