Asbury Park, Coolest City at the Jersey Shore User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I love living in Asbury Park. There is no better place to spend the summer than the Jersey shore. Asbury Park has a vibe of it’s own. Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon jovi played at the Stone Pony in the earlier days of their careers. The city has transformed into a very upscale, ...Read More artsy town with a fantastic boardwalk. The best areas in Asbury Park are the boardwalk and the Paramount Theater. Built in the 1920's, The Parmount has great shows all summer long. Another Asbury icon is the Tillie Mural, known throughout the world. Asbury has always welcomed the LGBT community with open arms.

Exciting nightlife abounds, with bars, clubs, restaurants, art galleries, antique shops, clothing boutiques, arcades, and coffee houses. Nothing is better than walking on Asbury Park's boardwalk at night, hearing the waves, breathing the salt air, and having any kind of entertainment at your disposal.
