Artesia California, Gateway city to the O.C and L.A. 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I love my little city, Artesia California. I think what I love most about it, is how it's nested right in between Los Angles County and Orange County. By far, its best feature has to be its convenient access nearby attractions. There are literally 3 major amusement parks I go to ...Read More on a regular basis. They are each a super short drive away. In a place like southern California where transportation is a NIGHTMARE, it's nice to have a place like Artesia, that makes getting around just that much easier.

Artesia, provides quick easy access to 3 major Interstate highways. The 605 to the west, the 91 right at the north, and from that you can catch L.A's main North-South corridor, the I-5. I use all of these freeways on a daily basis.

Now, while Artesia itself may not have a ton of "stuff to do," there is so much close by that it has never bothered me. My little gateway city is awesome, and I love how convenient it is. Read Less
