Living in Ardmore was alright, but I left the city after a couple years because there weren't enough opportunities to keep me around. Ardmore is the kind of city that will attract only people who are looking for an affordable, quiet lifestyle. It's far away from any other big cities and there are few real amenities in town. There are some stores in town to cover the basics, and you won't find many great restaurants either.

Gold Mountain Casino is on the edge of town and it's probably the best area in Ardmore, simply for the fact there is almost no other entertainment around. It's also pretty affordable to buy a home here, but most of them are simple ranches. Overall, Ardmore isn't the kind of city that can offer you a great job or much in the way of higher education. But if you're looking for just a quiet town or somewhere affordable to retire, it might fit the bill.
