Cute City 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Altamont, Oregon is a cute little town. After living there, I look back and see it as a homey city. There are many ammenities, but the town overall is small compared to the bigger cities.

Like most cities, Altamont provided me with great and affordable home options; however the ...Read More job market in the local area did not always allow me the means to support it. Communting was sometimes necessary and this is the only reason I relocated.

It is a great place to live and start or raise a family. The schools in Altamont, Washington are safe. Residents here know a lot of people and like to look out for eachother. Parks and recreation are available to enjoy when needed. Shopping in the area provided me with the things I needed, but smaller shops created some variety. While looking for nightlife in the area, other than the local bars and some local festivals I always traveled into a larger city that was close to Altamont. Read Less
