In the winter months, the town is really good about quickly plowing the roads and keeping them cleared. Because of the sports community in Agawam, people tend to be very friendly and close-knit. When it comes down to spending time with friends and family, we often have to go out of town. It would be nice if there were sports complexes, bowling, movie theaters or something like that to keep children and adults entertained...with all the taxes they collect.

Luckily though, Westfield, Southwick and Longmeadow are towns about ten minutes out, so not bad to travel to on a regular basis.

Nevertheless, you still get a great school system, safe neighborhoods and plenty of options when it comes to walking or hiking outdoors. There’s Robinson State Park, which has a well kept Dog Park As well. Read Less
