Adams Could Be For You 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jan 25, 2024) Adams is a beautiful town in the northern Berkshires. It sits in the most mountainous region of Massachusetts and is not far from the Vermont to the north or New York state to the west. Being a small town, it's probably not the ideal place to have to job search, although you do h ...Read More ave communities like North Adams, Williamstown, and Pittsfield all within 10 - 25 minutes or so away. You're a little over an hour away from Albany and Springfield, about 3 hours away from NYC and a little less than 3 hours to Boston. Summer in Adams is really pretty and in October it's a gem for the leaf peeping. The winters are fairly substantial. It's one of the most affordable areas in the state and would be a really nice option to live for someone who had a remote job and would like a smaller town lifestyle, as you could get pretty good value for your money when it comes to real estate. As long as you don't mind having a winter. Read Less
