Poor public transportation in Cobb co. City police don't give ticks to people who don't respect my poor neighborhood and treat my street like it is a freeway. Every day in Acworth is a beauty. Whether you're looking across the sparkling waters and listening to the lake breeze in the trees or strolling through the resplendent city, every glance is a reminder that you're in one of the most beautifully Southern cities around.

The commute to Atlanta isn't bad. Marietta is an easier neighboring city, living in Acworth, GA gives you that beautiful lake with just a 45-minute commute in usual traffic. Marietta is 25 minutes, and Alpharetta is just as far as going to Atlanta.

The best areas in Acworth, GA are the lake (of course), and the restaurants along Main Street and Nance Road. These two paths tie together and act as a loop, giving you a good look at Acworth's cuisine without having to meander too far. Read Less
