The best thing about Zachary is that it has a country feel, but very close to other cities. We have some of the top-rated schools in Louisiana making it a great place for families. I really like how the high school is divided into a 9th-grade academy and the 10th-12th are in a se ...Read More
parate building. I know this helped my daughter adjust better to high school. We have one of the best high schools as well and pride ourselves on academics.
Living in Zachary gives me access to some of the best southern and creole food. The city also has a lot of history and is growing. We have several nice parks and splash pads that keep my little ones cool from the humid summer heat. We do get all seasons in Louisiana, but the summer can be unbearable. A lot of the neighborhoods have pools or splash parks, but I usually stay indoors on very hot days. Although it is hot, there are many things to do indoors as well.
