You Might Want to Look Further than Yeadon, PA 2 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) While there's plenty of nice places to live in Pennsylvania, Yeadon is arguably not one of them. Living in Yeadon is fairly sub par in most respects, and actually somewhat dangerous given it has a crime rate nearly 60% higher than the state average.

Both the median household i ...Read More ncome and median home value are fairly low, both for the state and in general, which is doubly bad given the cost of living index for the city is about 3% higher than the rest of the state. As a result, despite having so many different amenities (mostly just coffee shops and Walgreens, honestly) around town, you won't be having too many opportunities to enjoy them.

On the plus side, what it lacks in actual restaurants, Yeadon makes up for in an abundance of bars in which you can drink your problems away until closing. There are also several bus routes near the center of town, making it somewhat accessible to those without a car or other transport. Read Less
