Cozy Area, but Nothing to See

I've lived here in Yacolt for 7 years. Overall, the area is very out-of-the-way. It's a nice place to be to get away from city life. Yacolt is a tiny town that has been working on residential development in recent years, so new houses pop up periodically. Otherwise, everything el ...Read More
se is old-style, including our mini shopping center featuring a small store, a martial arts school, and a pizza place. There is a great primary school within the town, a kid's play park with a track, a recreational park, a teensy library with computers, and a few places of community worship. The neighbors can be kind of noisy at times, but they're generally friendly and pleasant to be around. I would say Yacolt is an overall nice place despite the lack of excess attractions, shopping, and dining.
