Woodstock is a horrible place to live. It is a racist town with families that have lived there for generations - probably former slave owners. It seems the incestious town is operated by children (now adults) who grew up in the town from the police department to local government. The best thing in town is Starbucks and the only claim to fame is the filming of Groundhog Day. It is a small town with one major grocery chain, Walmart, one major pharmacy chain, a few decent restaurants and not much else to speak of. The schools are not great and seems to have a good amount of poverty.

Train Stations I am looking into traveling to Woodstock. I am coming from Springfield, IL and normally travel Amtrak. Is there an Amtrack station close to Woodstock? Or is there some sort of Metra or other transportation that could get me there? Thanks for your help.
