Woodbury MN - Rustic, But Peaceful User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 22, 2012) I moved to Woodbury, MN in 2009. I lived there for about 4 months. I had a sick relative that resulted in me having to live in the area for a short period of time. While living there I really did enjoy it.

The city of Woodbury, MN was a pretty rustic place I thought. When it co

They did also have a local movie theater. This was great if you were trying to get out for the night to see a new release film. There were also a few other attractions but not anything else that really stood out. The community was pretty quiet. Everybody was very nice but I did no see a lot of community oriented things that they offered. There were quite a few places to sit down and get a bite to eat at. Most of the local eateries were family owned and ran. There were a few franchises but not a whole lot. The family restaurants did seem to be the most appetizing though. There was not a whole lot of nightlife that I saw while living there. There were a few restaurants that did serve alcohol but that was about it. If you are not a person who needs a whole lot of nightlife then this place is great for you. When it came to a day of shopping there was plenty to do. There were several department and local stores. Some of the stores included JcPenny, Sears, and Target. These were just a few out of many shopping destinations.

Overall, Woodbury, MN is a very rural area. They have all the basics but not a lot of extras. If you like the country then this is a perfect place for you. So next time you are looking to move to a rural area keep Woodbury, MN in mind!
