Windsor Locks, CT Is A Nice, Middle-Class, Small Town User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) When I was a kid, my family lived in Windsor Locks, CT for about 14 years, and I've always been a big fan of the town. Although I now live two towns away, I still travel through Windsor Locks regularly.

...Read More ago, and that's a good thing. This small town is well-maintained and provides excellent public services. Connecticut's largest airport, Bradley International, is located in Windsor Locks, and employment opportunities are often available at the many airport-related businesses situated nearby.

An excellent public school system and public library are in place in Windsor Locks, and more than a dozen public parks are located there. Retail options here are limited, but an abundance of retail stores are located in adjacent towns. Route 75 is a major local thoroughfare that features lots of good restaurants. Among the best areas in Windsor Locks are the Fox Hollow Drive and North Street neighborhoods. Read Less
