There are so many stores within walking distance, which comes in handy when it snows. Plus, this city is equipped with plenty of reliable public transportation. I find the rent to be rather low for this loca ...Read More tion! Even though it gets pretty chilly in the winter, the weather's relatively warm for the most part. Living in Wilkinsburg,PA is truly amazing, there's so much to see and do here.

With all of the businesses in the area hiring, there's always plenty of work available. Plus, it's also easy to find apartments for rent as well. Perfect for those wishing to spend a couple of months or who want to permanently relocate.

I find Point Breeze to be one of the best areas in Wilkinsburg,PA! It's just outside of the city and right around the corner from the Hammett Place Community Garden. I also love paying a visit to Biddle's Escape, a local coffee shop who serves up a mean cup of java. The Loft is my favorite restaurant to go for lunch or dinner, located on South Braddock Avenue, it's within walking distance from my home. Read Less
