White Center: A Small City in The Pacific Northwest 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) White Center is a small suburb of Seattle, located west of Downtown Seattle, in King County, Washington. Living in white center is more affordable than living directly in Seattle, but the city itself is still close to Downtown. The population is very diverse, and the area itself ...Read More is great, there are many local parks maintained by the city in which to enjoy family time or a walk with the dog. The best areas in White Center to find restaurants and bars is around 16th Ave SW. I frequently visit this area to eat, and on weekends my and my friends usually find ourselves at a local dive bar.

White center is one of many neighborhoods in the greater Seattle area, but its diverse population is an attractive factor. Home values have been increasing in recent years and Seattle's public transportation system has many buses that run through white center and will take you nearly anywhere in King County. I find it very easy to commute to work in the city and back to White Center, and I do just find without needing to drive a car most places. Read Less
