Whitchurch-Stouffville is a town in Ontario located about a 50 minute drive to downtown Toronto. The city is a popular commuter suburb, as it is served by GO bus and train services to Toronto, as well as other stops in the GTA. Cradled by the ecologically sensitive Oak Ridges Moraine, the town is an amalgamation of several communities and has grown substantially in recent years along the town’s sustainable development plan. It’s no surprise that this beautiful community is growing increasingly popular to settle in and our Whitchurch-Stouffville Livability guide will show you all the reasons why.

To prevent the destruction of the surrounding lands, the growth of urban sprawl is prevented by regulations and developments are carefully planned. You won’t find too many high-rises in Whitchurch-Stouffville, which allows the town to retain its characteristic small town flavour. Most residents live in the Old Village of Stouffville where they have easy access to all amenities including shops, health care facilities and schools. For something a little more lavish, you can check out the Musselman Lake community along Lakeshore Road.
