Westwood is home to the Westwood Theater and Hackensack University Medical Center. Westwood has a long history of being a railroad town. The NJ Transit Pascack Valley Line was originally built in 1870, giving Westwood access to New York City. There is also a direct bus stop in Westwood that goes to Port Authority, NYC. This has made Westwood a desirable suburb for people who commute to New York City.

There are two must visit eateries in Westwood. The Iron Horse is a cozy restaurant that has been in business for 45 years. Locals and visitors love their stuffed cheeseburgers, the house specialty. Conrads Confectionery has been in business since 1928 selling homemade candy and ice cream. Read Less
