A Taste Of Vietnam In Westminster, California 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 07, 2010) Westminster is part of Orange County, south of Los Angeles. This city's size has rapidly grown in the past thirty years. Not long ago, the original drive-in theater was turned into a shopping area, bringing many new jobs and more revenue to the city. The old screen is now a large ...Read More billboard in memory of the theater. The shopping area has a wide variety of fascinating shops and major stores. Real estate prices are fair, but on a higher scale. Westminster has a friendly atmosphere, beautiful neighborhoods and a good sense of community.

Vietnamese cuisine in Westminster is superb to the rest of Orange County's similar venues. One restaurant I have visited several times and prefer above the others (several of the Vietnamese restaurants are great) is Pho Ben Thanh Inc. Authentic taste, a clean and friendly atmosphere and quick service make this restaurant an overall good choice.

Several attractions and fun things to do can be found in Westminster. The Vietnam War Memorial at Sid Goldstein Freedom Park is a very intriguing spot to visit. Also a point of interest in Westminster is the Blakely Historical Park and Museum, featuring many unique artifacts and information about the town's history. Read Less
