Westbrook, Maine: A Great Family Place 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Westbrook, Maine is a lot of fun to live in. It is a suburb of the largest city in Maine, Portland. Westbrook has the wonderful small town feel but is within easy distance of any activity you might want to do. There are a lot of local breweries, with what I think is some of the b ...Read More est beer in the world.
A short drive into Portland brings you to a ton of great Museums and restaurants. There is a children’s theater and a children’s museum, so there is a lot of excellent things to do with kids. When I was a kid, the children’s museum was always a lot of fun to me. The Portland Museum of Art is an amazing experience, and something I went to often when I lived in the area.
Of course, we all want to have a little adult fun sometimes. Old Port has an amazing nightlife. There are many great bars, local musicians performing, and yummy restaurants to eat at. Dewey’s is a must stop at restaurant in the area. Read Less
