West Whitter = Beautiful Weather 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) West Whittier-Los Nietos is a suburb outside of the LA area. The best part about living in West Whittier-Los Nietos is the small town feel. The schools are not the best, but we do have private school options. It is very diverse here with a good mix of different cultures.

We hav ...Read More e a few places to shopping including a small shopping mall, The Quad at Whittier. We have several department stores including Burlington Coat and Ross Dress for Less and more. The mall has a decent food court including the options of commercial restaurants such as Chilis. For better shopping options, I usually travel a little further into Los Angeles.

Living in Whitter comes with a lot of advantages particularly the weather. It is nice all year around and my family and I usually take advantage of this with our multiple visits to Parnell Park. It has most things parks offer but also have a seasonal petting zoo. We love animals, so this is definitely one of our favorites. Read Less
